Our Safeguarding Mission
Middle World Farms — creating a safe, inclusive, nurturing space for everyone
Our commitment to safety
At Middle World Farms, the safety and well-being of every child, young person, and vulnerable adult is at the heart of everything we do. Our mission is to create a nurturing, inclusive environment where everyone who visits, volunteers, or works here feels secure, respected, and supported.
We are dedicated to fostering a space where young people can freely explore, learn, and grow in harmony with nature — knowing that their safety is our highest priority. Our policies are designed to prevent abuse, neglect, and discrimination, and to create a respectful, accountable community where concerns are always taken seriously.
Core principles
Safety first
The physical, emotional, and mental safety of all participants is our highest priority. Everyone should feel secure and respected here.
Zero tolerance
We have a zero-tolerance approach to any form of abuse, neglect, bullying, or discrimination. All concerns are taken seriously, investigated, and handled confidentially.
Inclusive practices
We welcome individuals of all backgrounds and abilities. Our activities are accessible to everyone, and all voices are heard and respected.
Continuous improvement
Our safeguarding policy is reviewed annually to reflect current standards, legal requirements, and best practice. We never stand still.
